Singer/songwriter Jessie Schupbach, raised in a musical family in rural Illinois, and still singing with her sister to this day in the duo Sam + Jess. Her voice has a beautiful elegance, and her harmonies are as strong as they come. Her songs are entrancing, often melancholy, and rooted in a deep Americana tradition, with influences such as Sarah Jarosz, Sheryl Crow and Nickel Creek. Jessie is currently in the studio recording her debut solo EP, and her voice can also be found on releases from Shipyard alumni Jason Heeter and Logan Chapman.
